Productive ADHD student focus is crucial when the ADHD meds have worn off.
Consider the following ADHD tips:
1.Take a top-up small dose before you start your homework to help you focus.
- Do some intense exercise before your homework session and every 30 minutes. You could run up and down the stairs a few times, skip with a rope, jump on a trampoline, do some weight bearing exercises. This will get the juices flowing.
- Eat some protein before the homework session. Peanut butter, yogurt and eggs are all a good source of protein.
- Vary the homework assignments,so you do some thinking work then some creative work etc. This will keep you interested and motivated
